In this reimagined regional staging of Frozen, custom projections were central to conjuring Broadway-scale magic on a more intimate scale. From conjuring blizzards to animating Elsa’s powers, the design layered atmosphere and storytelling atop Kimberly V. Powers’s versatile scenic framework. With timecode-synced effects and a new laser projection system, the visual environment transformed modest resources into a fully immersive Arendelle—underscoring Red Mountain’s commitment to innovation in family-friendly spectacle.

This production of Frozen also included close collaboration with my four year old daughter, who helped guide design and creation of Elsa's ice magic VFX, workshopping several key scenes in her bedroom.
