Part of 2021's "Riyadh Season," Habibati Man Takoun marked the first biographical theatrical production in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in recent history, and was part of the Vision 2030 initiative to diversify the country. My work navigated the unique cultural challenges and opportunities designing live theatre in the center of the Arabic world, bringing to life the legendary Egyptian singer Abdel Halim Hafez.
