A semi-staged production by the Pacific Symphony, Rigoletto was an exercise in summoning high production value out of limited resources. By printing traditional tarot cards in large scale and re-projecting their images back onto the prints, we were able to create the illusion of the cards "coming to life", illustrating the journey of Rigoletto as he tries and fails to escape his curse.
