Part of 2022's "Riyadh Season," The Philosopher continued my collaboration with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to develop the first biographical theater piece written, directed, and performed by Saudi citizens in decades. Similar to my previous project Habibati Man Takoun, my work navigated the unique cultural challenges and opportunities designing live theatre in the center of the Islamic world.
